The whole house carbon refill pack contains both carbon and base media’s. This carbon refill pack is specific for the media replacement of our TEC150 whole house carbon filter. The carbon media is a granulated activated carbon which sits inside the TEC150 high flow tank and treats all the water entering the house. The base media is a base metal that is included in the pack and should be replaced when refilling the TEC150 carbon tank. We recommend the carbon media be replaced annually.
