The UB-UVSS model is ideal for installing under your kitchen sink with a separate faucet which is used for all your consumption water, such as making drinks, filling the jug, washing vegetables,etc.
Prefiltration is usually required to ensure that particulate matter does not shield micro-organisms from the UV light, with 20 micron being the recommended minimum. This unit can be supplied individually to add to an existing water filter or can be supplied as a complete package with dispensing faucet and a sediment pre-filter to suit your water supply. Ultraviolet sterilisers are only designed to kill bacteria and will not eliminate any other contaminants in your water supply. If you require other contamiants to be removed from your water supply, such as tastes, odours, chemicals, etc. please contact us for a recommendation.
