Crystal Pure^® CPSSD4 Steam Distiller

The Crystal Pure CPSSD4 Steam Distiller is a stylish, compact and portable unit that is ideal for use in the home or office. It is very easy to use - simply fill with water up to the level indicator and push the on switch. The distiller will then automatically switch off when the distilling process has finished. The Crystal Pure CPSSD4 Steam Distiller will make 4 litres (1 Gallon) of distilled water in 5-6 hours, removing all heavy metals, fluoride, chlorine, chemicals, THM's, pesticides, herbicides, taste and odours. It also kills and sterilises all viruses, E.Coli bacteria, Giardia, Cryptosporidium cysts and protozoa.

What makes this distiller superior is the one-piece stainless steel boiling chamber, with no element exposed. This makes it exceptionally easy to clean, as it can be simply scrubbed with a scouring pad, reducing the amount of expensive descaling chemicals needed. With the heating element safely beneath the boiling chamber, it is not exposed to residue or scale build-up, which is known to either burn the element out or cause it to run inefficiently. The inside of the boiling chamber lid and the steam condensor are also stainless steel, creating a fully stainless steel boiling chamber (no plastic). The outer casing is also constructed of stainless steel, preventing any corrosion from moisture.

The collection bottle is constructed of polycarbonate (instead of plastic), and will not leach any plastic taste or smell into the distilled water. The collection bottle stores inside the boiling chamber for travel convenience. The carbon sachet filter at the last stage of the distillation process is a vital component, as it removes any remaining volatile chemicals that may get trapped in the steam (volatile chemicals have a lower boiling point and boil before water does e.g. chlorine gas and some pesticides).
