Crystal Pure^® UBACF25 Underbench Water Purifier

The Crystal Pure UBACF25 underbench purifier is designed for general purpose water purification and is ideal for removing the offensive chlorine tastes and odours found in most water supplies. The separate purifier tap compliments any kitchen or bench design, with optional designer taps available. It comes complete as a step-by-step DIY kit with the filter housing and connections installed out of sight under the sink.

The UBACF25 model comes complete with a 5 micron low density activated carbon cartridge (ACF25), which is effective in removing or reducing dirt, sediment, tastes, odours, some pesticides, herbicides, chemicals and 95% of chlorine. The activated carbon cartridge is cellulose free and has a recommended maximium hygenic life of 12 months. There is no cleaning or maintenance required between this period of use, unless filter becomes blocked or exhausted and requires changing.

The filter cartridge is very easy to change. Simply turn the water off by fully turning the saddle tapping valve in clockwise, unscrew the housing and change the cartridge. Quick release fittings allow the housing to be easily removed from under the sink for cleaning and changing the filter.

• The ACF25 filter cartridge should only be used with microbiologically safe water, as it is not designed to kill or remove bacteria or viruses.
• The ACF25 filter cartridge is not bacteriostatic and must be changed after 12 months, regardless of usage, as a bacterial growth may develop after this period.
• Actual filter life cannot be guaranteed, as it will depend on the quality of the water supply.
