Fridge and Coffee Machines
Fridges
Many fridges have water dispensers and ice-makers incorporated, which require filters. Fridge filter packs are available to install inline from the water supply to your fridge, with either a 1, 2 or 3 year purifier cartridge. Special limescale reduction filters are also available to prevent limescale build-up in ice-makers - replaced 6 monthly. The actual filter cartridge included in the pack will depend on the water supply to which the fridge will be connected, contact us with your requirements for a suitable recommendation.
We can supply replacement filter cartridges for inline type installations, but unfortunately NOT for built-in internal type filters (unique to fridge brand). However some fridges have bypass capabilities, in which case we can recommend a suitable solution.
Coffee Machines
Most coffee machines require limescale reduction filters to prevent the delicate pipework from blocking, resulting in expensive repairs. Filters are also available for removal of sediment, taste, odours, chlorine, chemicals, etc. from the water. Like the fridge packs above, various coffee machine filters and packs are available to suit the water supply, contact us with your requirements for a suitable recommendation..
Each fridge or coffee machine pack includes:
- Connection to connect to water supply (different options)
- 1/4" high density food grade tubing (does not kink when folded)
- Inline filter cartridge & bracket (or housing and filter cartridge - depends on water supply)
- Standard 1/4" brass fitting for fridge/coffee machine connection (may not fit all makes)
