Crystal Pure^® CTOCK300 Slimline Countertop Purifier

The Crystal Pure CTOCK300 Slimline Countertop Water Purifier is an essential appliance needed in every kitchen to provide your family with up to three years of great tasting contaminant free water, with the added bonus of Giardia, Cryptosporidium and heavy metal protection. With a simple pull of the button on the divertor valve, which connects to your tap, your normal tap water is diverted through the purifier, giving you safe purified water.

The CTOCK300 purifier cartridge contains two separate purification media's, constructed of FDA grade materials intended for use in drinking water where there is a risk of aluminium or heavy metal contamination. The first stage is the versatile KDF® oxidation/reduction media which has been shown to kill algae and fungi; control bacterial growth (bacteriostatic); remove or reduce lead, aluminium, cadmium, mercury, arsenic, iron, hydrogen sulphide and lime scale buildup. KDF® has a superior ability to remove chlorine, which prolongs the life of the second granular activated carbon stage. This ultra high quality purification grade carbon assures performance in removal or reduction of chlorine, chemicals, THM's, pesticides, herbicides, taste and odours. Pesticides and herbicides make their way into our town water supplies by leaching into rivers or groundwater from farm run-off and storm-water drains, and are not usually removed during the normal municipal water treatment process. The 1-micron post-filtration disc ensures total protection against Giardia, Cryptosporidium and Asbestos (Asbestos is known to be carcinogenic, with asbestos fibres being very common in many town water supply pipes - especially older types - which were made from asbestos). The OCK300 cartridge is protected from premature clogging by a 10-micron polypropylene pre-filtration disc, which also removes dirt, sediment, rust and algae.

The CTOCK300 purifier gives you protection against aluminium, which is added to most town water supplies during treatment as part of the flocculation (dirt removal) process. Recent studies show that exposure to aluminium in drinking water may increase an individual's chances of developing Alzheimer's Disease.

Assuming clean, properly filtered and chlorinated municipal water, you can expect to enjoy great tasting water for up to 30,000 litres or the maximum recommended life of 3 years.

The CTOCK300 countertop can be converted into an underbench model at a later date by using our underbench conversion kit.

• The OCK300 filter cartridge should only be used with municipally treated, microbiologically safe water, as it is not designed to kill or remove bacteria or viruses.
• Bacteriostatic means that while there is water sitting in the unit when you are not using it, bacterial growth within the unit will be inhibited to acceptable levels.
• Actual filter life cannot be guaranteed, as it will depend on the quality of the water supply.
