Reverse Osmosis Servicing

Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems need to be serviced at least on an annual basis.

Domestic RO systems require the pre and post filters to be changed yearly (if they are not bacteriostatic). The membrane and the storage tank require backwashing and sanitising annually to maintain their efficiency and pure quality. If an RO unit is serviced annually, the membrane should last between 3 and 4 years, depending on the application. Please note that some larger commercial RO systems require more regular servicing.
